Goizueta Stage for Youth and Families- Woodruff Arts Center

Formerly the Rich Theatre, the history of this performing arts facility dates back to 1955, when it was built as part of the Atlanta Art Association Building, and was called the Hill Auditorium. After the Orly tragedy of 1964, the 1968 Memorial Arts building was designed, preserving the Arts Association building within it intact as the High Museum of Art. Original entry and Brick walls are still preserved within, awaiting their rediscovery and celebration.

The Goizueta Stage for Youth and Families is the culmination of a dream and a catalyst for a new era of The Woodruff Arts Center. Ambitious and unprecedented, The Stage will be a deployable system with the power to transform physical space as well as hearts and minds. The Stage can shift its personality and size for a myriad of possibilities, programs and events. As The Goizueta Stage expands all the way to Peachtree Street, it becomes an inviting and vibrant destination for all in Atlanta.
